Location: 627 Route 1, York, Maine (in the Eldredge Building)
Dan Gardoqui – our presenter – has been a bird whisperer since his teen years in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Since then he has taught people of all ages how to tune in to the language of nature. He served as science faculty at Granite State College for over a decade.
In 1999 he founded White Pine Programs in York, Maine which reaches nearly 2,000 youth and teens annually with deep nature connection programs. Dan is a registered Maine Guide and certified wildlife tracker living near Mount Agamenticus with his family.
You will learn that birds are talking to us…every day. You can easily understand them with just a few tips. Come and learn how to detect owls, foxes and other wildlife and birds. Dan will be happy to share what he can to help you better understand the world of wildlife.
Light refreshments will be served.
