About the Speaker

Amy Martinez Beal, can be found outside on any given day at her home near the base of Mount Agamenticus, following a tiny River (3 year-old grandson), watching the birds, tending her gardens, or sketching wildlife tracks. Committed to deepening relationships with wildlife kin, Amy has devoted the past 20 years to learning more about the natural world alongside people of all ages through birding, wildlife tracking, adventure, book study, hardship, physical work and play.  Amy has been affiliated with White Pine Programs, a center for nature education and human development for over 20 years as a Board Member, volunteer, mentor and staff member. She holds a Level III Certification in Wildlife Track & Sign, serves on the Board of Tracker Certification North America and organizes an annual wildlife tracking conference through Northeast Wildlife Trackers.
